Nia combines elements of martial arts, dance and mindfulness. It is the mix of the explosive, powerful from Tae Kon D and the soft and expressive from Modern and Jazz dance as from Yoga calm conscious placement of bones and shapes in space – a body awareness that gave Nia its nickname Yoga with a beat.
Your body, mind and nervous system is being moved and conditioned.
Balance, power, focus, breath, consciousness are all words describing Nia – all of them taking roots in thee ground principle of Nia – Joy of Movement.
Sometimes coming naturally and at times needing  to be a conscious choice we make.
Nia is a holistic movement concept that addresses all aspects of your life – your body, your mind and your spirit.
Every class creates awareness in your dance and you feel you have more energy, are mentally clear and emotionally in balance.
Nia is non-impact, danced barefoot and can be adjusted to everyone’s abilities.
The movements have three levels and can be adapted to your body’s needs – from beginner to athlete.

Nia is for you who want experience pleasure and joy while you exercise.
