Soul Motion®: Foundations
Workshop with Doreen Tönjes and Camilla Steen Larsen
This five-day immersion for those just beginning their Soul Motion path as well as for seasoned movers looking to refresh; is a deep dive into the architecture and foundational elements that support the practice of Soul Motion. Emphasis is on the foundational four Soul Motion movement landscapes; dancing alone, dancing with another, dancing with everyone, dancing in the everyday with special focus on the platforms of pause presence, orbit orientation and echo inspiration.
Together we explore the key elements that make this powerful practice unique. Foundations include the movement tools, somatic languaging, and relational landscapes and platforms of Soul Motion.
Leading a vibrant and more dynamic life is learning to play with our edges and connect to the dance happening below the skin. The ability to meet everyday challenges with care and kindness are enhanced when we move with a sense of our core self.
Soul Motion is a practice where we cultivate our capacity to listen to the profound wisdom of our bodies and the quiet whisperings of soul. From this place we meet the world alive and present.
Foundations is open to everyone interested in the fundamentals of the work. It is a base requirement (pre-requisite) for the Soul Motion Teacher Training Program and is based on the lifework of Vinn Arjuna Martí.
Come as you are. No prior dance practice is required to attend, all you need is your body and you will be extra prepared.
The workshop will be taught in English, German and the Universal language of the body.

Doreen Tönjes
Doreen is deeply interested in people, body and life. Her greatest joy is to help people on their way to authentic self expression and to strengthen their awakening is one thing that makes her heart sing.
Her development with movement began in competitive sports. She studied sports science and worked as a performance trainer in the field of athletics and then discovering dance.
She is a mother of two sons and has been co-operating in opening dance halls in Germany and Europe for over 15 years.
Since three years she has been holding the space in Center for “Silence & Movement” in her hometown, Oldenburg in her work focused on dance and meditation.
In addition to being a Soul Motion teacher she developed dance trainings of her own focusing on embodiment and in her meditations she is mainly influenced by OSHO meditations.
Camilla Steen Larsen
Camilla passionately lives her dream of bringing dance as a lifestyle to the world as an entry to come one step closer to ourselves. She believes that every single one of us are unique and make a difference.
Camilla brings almost 30 years of experience in teaching movement in stillness and sound. In 2010 she opened Be moved in idyllic Frederiksberg in Copenhagen where she teaches and shares her work of conscious movement as well as facilitating on international dance floors across the globe inspiring and motivating movers through a creative and authentic tool box enriched by her education in Biyun Medical Qi Gong, Nia (Black Belt) and Soul Motion®.
Her brilliances are conscious movement, mindful living, embodied leadership presence, somatic response and authentic relating movement practices – she calls it live · love · lead. She is the founder and creator of Mastering of Self training building bridges between people, movement forms and professions far beyond the dance floor shared,
